The ANS series of programmable, synthesised RF signal sources offer a much lower cost alternative to multifunction test instruments and utilise the power of the standard office PC to provide a turn-key, plug & play solution to production and development testing of RF components and equipment. Directly connecting to the PC parallel port, each unit can be set to frequencies within a typical 1.5:1 range via an easy to use control panel software and the non-volatile memory enables the selected frequency to be retained in the stand alone unit. The Sources can be used in three output modes - continuous, momentary and toggle - also controlled by the PC control panel.
